Well I made couch cushions with this fabric, and after only a week of sitting on them, they became dirty looking, and started to fade. I wrote my initial review before I actually had to live with the fabric, and let's just say I am not a happy camper. The fabric is not as durable as you would think, do not use for something that is sat on! What a waste. I spent over $100 on this fabric, taking into consideration the stain resistance, and the fact that it can withstand so many rubs! Not truly the case. The black started to fade and slightly pill after a week of light use... Taking the risk so that I can thoroughly review this fabric, I attempted a wash... it looks like a dilapidated old pair of jeans that's been washed a thousand times. The black is no more, the white is grey... I was not hoping for the best, but I was NOT expecting this. This fabric is not worth your time! I can't believe I wasted my money! I'm only hoping I can do something so that it's not a total waste of the money we had to save to reupholster our couch. Not worth $5! 6.18.2013

Amazing material. I made curtains out of it. Easy to work with, does not wrinkle but it does need a lining added to the back otherwise it looks unfinished. 6.17.2013
Softer than many other cotton velvets, backing on this fabric made it very easy to cut, no fraying no messy fabric pills, Just terrific. 6.17.2013
Purchased the Luster Grape and oyster cotton velvets. Love this fabric the backing made it very easy to cut and work with. It is much softer than other cotton velvets I have seen. I am very pleased. I am making a Christmas Stocking for our new great niece, Untraditional but extremely beautiful thanks to the quality of these fabrics. 6.17.2013
