Washing Instructions & Info
As a general rule, unless stated otherwise, home decorator products are recommended to be dry cleaned. This does not mean they will not wash well... It just means to wash at your own risk. If you intend to wash an item after it has been made, we strongly encourage you to test a small piece first to make sure it is suitable for washing; and if you are satisfied with the result, then proceed with washing the entire yardage. Also remember to wash the product in the same manner you will wash the project afterwards (i.e. Do not wash in a warmer temp. after your project has been made and do not dry in dryer if the initial yardage was not dried in dryer).
Quick Tips

The description of the fabric said that it was slightly imperfect, hence the reduction in price. After reading the reviews I decided to order anyway, since the imperfection turned out the be a specific kind of smell (a little like a barn, I guess) and since I was going to make outdoor cushion covers, it did not really matter. When I got the fabric delivered, the smell was not bad at all. The quality and color of the fabric is beautiful and I am very happy with it! The smell even went away after having the fabric laid out in our house for a couple of days. Great deal!

Loved the look of this fabric, and the price was wonderful, so I ordered 7 yards. The odor was more like manure, and I couldn't have my house smell like a barn! Tried airing it outside and spraying with Febreeze. After a few days, and the odor as bad as ever, I washed it. Now it smells great, but it did fade in a few places. Still worth the price, as the color and print are beautiful!

"I used this material for a bay window swag and to make some pillows and lampshade. I love it, however the color is more of a rust than the deep berry the picture looks like"
