Machine sewed two panels of "Garden Grandeur, Sienna" home decor fabric 54" wide with 2 lengths of 120" fabric. Machine hemmed 1/2 finished seams on sides & bottom. On the top, I folded the material 6 1/2" to wrong side. Pressed. Measured 3" from the top & sewed across the width of fabric for a 3" header across the top. Measured & marked a 3 1/2" from that seam & sewed a 3 1/2" pocket for the wooden 2" rod. Valance is a contrasting color in duponia silk. Cut valance 12" long & 54" wide. Finish 1/2" hem around valance. Fold the 12" in half & press. Sew the valance 1/4 to 1/2" below the rod pocket seam. When inserting the panels they become gathered. Panels "puddle" on the floor.
