I made new lined curtains for a used trailer we bought, using Sky blue ticking and wide white sheeting. Most of the curtains were rod-pocket, two full-length privacy curtains were pleated drapes that hang from drapery hooks, one used specialty RV "slider" hardware, and the kitchen window was on grosgrain ribbon tabs to make it easier to put the entire curtain to one side (away from either the stove/sink or the couch.) I also made wall-mounted organizers for our personal items. The combination of the ticking and sheeting doesn't give a black-out effect, but is quite ample to keep the interior cool in direct sun. It is also very private from outside view, even when there are lights on in the trailer.
