Help! Our fabric bits and pieces from our cuttings each day are piling up on us! These popular 100% cotton home decorator fabrics by Premier Prints and similar brands are now being offered by the LB! Assortments can include a mixed variety of Stripes, Polka Dots, Animal Prints, Florals, Plaids, Retro and Contemporary Styles, Juvenile Prints, Novelty Designs, etc. These fabrics will usually consist of remnants 1/2 yard - 2 yards and you will receive no 2 pieces alike! Most of these fabrics are either end rolls, or have not passed the quality inspection for yardage orders... **This means that it is likely that some of these fabrics are not 1st quality and will contain flaws (major flaws such as large holes are not included).
*Please note that these are drapery weight fabrics and NOT quilting fabrics.

• 2nd Quality - Fabrics may contain flaws such a dye spots, thread runs, etc. (no major flaws)
• 1 yard weighs apprx. 3/4 LB. so average cost is apprx. $3.75 per yard (give or take a little)
• Perfect for crafts and smaller design applications (where flaws can be worked around)

Washing Instructions & Info
As a general rule, unless stated otherwise, home decorator products are recommended to be dry cleaned. This does not mean they will not wash well... It just means to wash at your own risk. If you intend to wash an item after it has been made, we strongly encourage you to test a small piece first to make sure it is suitable for washing; and if you are satisfied with the result, then proceed with washing the entire yardage. Also remember to wash the product in the same manner you will wash the project afterwards (i.e. Do not wash in a warmer temp. after your project has been made and do not dry in dryer if the initial yardage was not dried in dryer).

Quick Tips

100% Cotton - Expect quite a bit of shrinkage and wrinkling to occur if washing 100% cotton products. And when dealing with home decor printed material, the print will sometimes fade. **We highly recommend 100% cotton materials be dry cleaned.

100% Polyester - Polyester products are normally ideal for washing. There should be little to no shrinkage or wrinkling. However, unless stated as washable, we still encourage washing a test piece first. Also, if there is a sheen to your fabric... It may diminish slightly after each wash. Please take this into consideration.

Poly/Cotton Blends - Polyester and cotton blended materials can usually be washed, however, you may experience slight shrinkage and wrinkling. The rule still applies to test a small piece, and then, if satisfied, wash the entire yardage before making your project. The shiny material rule applies here too... If there is a sheen to your fabric, it may diminish slightly after each wash. Please take this into consideration.

100% Silk - Silks can be either hand washed and air dried or dry cleaned.

I've ordered the Premier Prints "by the pound" fabrics a few times. Each time I get a different selection and quite a few large pieces. Every now and then I'll find pieces with flaws that I have to work around, but overall good quality. The one fabric that I always cringe at when I get it in the bundle is toile ... ugh, hate toile!

I am a big fan of premier fabrics.I thought Id take a chance and hope I'd get colors I can use,but it didnt work out that way.Since we cant request colors anymore.It'S not worth it to me to buy by the pound anymore.

I ordered this in colors and Black and White. What a treat! I was nervous about now knowing what to expect but I am a new sewer so i figured whatever it was could use it to practice...I got my package and LOVED everything. Cool modern prints which gave me tons of ideas for small projects such as bags and skirts(yes make simple skirtsout of this stuff and I think they are SO CUTE)

I am really pleased with the fabric by the pound! I ordered assorted colors and black & whites. They arrived just as described and I can't wait to get to work on some purses/bags for friends. I only wish you did this with quilting cotton as well. It'd be a GREAT way for me to build my fabric stash!

Iam making tote bags for my chuch's craft fair, and these were perfect, just as described. At least a half yard and most more, not all perfect, but for our needs, totally useable. And you can't beat the price.
